LoliRock Opening Sequence - Behind the Scenes

Hi LoliRockers !

Here is the behind the scene video of our opening sequence, storyboard done by our beloved director Jean-Louis Vandestoc himself.

There are 3 work-in-progress versions in the video : the usual “Animatic” and “Final Render”, and a third one : the first draft !

This was the very first version quickly drawn by Jean-Louis, from the time “LoliRock” wasn’t even named “Lolirock” ! Yet, as you’ll see, the opening changed very little since this first version.

The biggest difference lies in the “backstage intro” we added at the animatic : our producers thought it would be nice to “explain in a song” the concept of the three girls being both rockstars and magical princesses.

PS : Oh, and for all of you who asked for the full english credits of the show (season 1), I’ve put them at the end of the video. You’re welcome. ;)
